Skip Ad Related Articles 2018 MLB season: The top 30 prospects heading into the season The 2018 MLB offseason officially begins, with the opening day of the season on Aug. 31, 2018, when the top 30 players on each team will be available to trade.
The deadline is Monday, Aug. 30, with a deadline of Aug. 12 for teams that have not signed their free agents.
MLB.com and MLBTR will be the first to have a full look at all 30 teams’ rosters heading into next season.
All 20 teams will play a playoff series, which starts on Oct. 1 in San Diego, at home against the division champion San Francisco Giants.
MLBTR, MLB.tv, MLB Nation, and MLB.org will provide live stats from each game, as well as an updated look at what is happening in each division and how the postseason plays out.
All games will be televised live by MLB Network and MLB GameTime starting at 7:15 p.m.
