It’s the day of reckoning for the industry as it gears up to replace nearly 1.5 million appliances.
The American Home Appliance Association announced Thursday that appliance repair will be at the top of the list of jobs to be lost, with nearly 1,000 jobs to go.
With 2.3 million American homes affected by the crisis, it will be the worst job market in history.
Many manufacturers are now working around the clock to make repairs, while many retailers are also doing the same.
On the plus side, the American Red Cross and Salvation Army have teamed up to provide relief to households affected by this crisis.
“We’ve seen great support from retailers, restaurants, and restaurants across the country,” said Sally Smith, senior vice president of communications for the Salvation Army.
“As more businesses and consumers begin to come to grips with this tragedy, we will continue to work closely with the U,S.
Department of Labor to ensure we’re doing everything possible to assist those impacted by this tragedy.”
The Red Cross says its reaching out to restaurants, hotels, bars and other businesses to reach out to families affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
The organization also said it will make sure the people impacted by Hurricane Irma are covered through the end of the week.
At the same time, some stores are also helping to fill in the gap by donating food to those who have lost their homes.
As the industry is still sorting through the disaster, retailers and consumers are still reeling from the loss of life.
One local grocery store, The Duggins, is offering a 10% discount to all orders, as well as free shipping to those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
But for those that have had their business affected, there are also plenty of ways to help.
It’s not easy being a single parent and dealing with the loss.
But this is a time to help your loved ones.
We’re offering some great discounts for your next order of groceries and gift cards, too.
